Special Subject Addition - Postgraduate Coursework
- The Special Subject Addition application is to be used only when adding a subject which is not a standard component of your course. Refer to the Course and Subject Handbook for your relevant course details
- A separate form must be completed for each additional subject applied for.
- The Special Subject Addition application must be endorsed by your supervisor.
- Consideration will only be given to subjects taught at the appropriate year level for your course (see Subject level enrolment policy, below)

The Special Subject Addition application must be lodged by the following dates:
Final date for adding subjects in Semester 1: Friday of the second week of semester
Final date for adding subjects in Semester 2: Friday of the second week of semester
When your supervisor's recommendations have been made it is your responsibility to ensure that the application is collected and delivered to the Arts and Music Students Centre:

Subject Level Enrolment Policy
Second/third-year Subjects
Second/third-year subjects are not available to students enrolled in fourth-year honours, postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas, or masters programs.
Third-year Subjects
Third-year subjects are not available to students enrolled in fourth-year honours, postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas, or masters programs.
Fourth-year Subjects
Fourth-year subjects are not available to students enrolled in undergraduate degrees, concurrent certificates, concurrent diplomas, graduate certificates, graduate diplomas or one-year masters programs.
Fifth-year Subjects
Fifth-year subjects are not available to students enrolled in undergraduate degrees, concurrent certificates, concurrent diplomas, graduate certificates, or graduate diplomas.
