Specifically, applicants must be studying English Literature in the School of Culture and Communication.
The Amy Gaye Cowper Tennent Memorial Scholarship is open to graduates of the University of Melbourne who are pursuing graduate studies in English Literature. Consideration will also be given to applicants who wish to pursue their studies at an overseas university or other tertiary institution. The scholarship is available initially for one year. The Council of the University has the discretion to recommend the extension of the scholarship for a further period. The scholarship may be held concurrently with any other award.

- Two academic references
- Evidence of financial need and resources available. Applicant's financial need will be considered, i.e. access to other financial sources (APA, GRATS, MATS/PORES, Department)
