Ecofeminist Fridays: a reading group for creative writing scholars and students whose works focus on the intersection of ecological and feminist concerns

This year will see the start of Ecofeminist Fridays, a reading group for creative writing scholars and students whose works focus on the intersection of ecological and feminist concerns. The reading group will take place each Friday, starting Friday March 3, 2017

This semester we will read, and engage in written responses to, Val Plumwood's important book Feminism and the Mastery of Nature. We will also discuss the importance of Plumwood's thinking for working within, across and between the ecological humanities and individual art practice.

Plumwood's book is available for purchase from various online stores. There is also an ebook available for your use on The University of Melbourne library catalogue.

To register your interest in this new reading group please email Hayley Singer.
