Associate Professor Christopher R. Marshall, Tour Lecturer
Associate Professor Christopher R. Marshall is Associate Professor in Art History and Museum Studies at the University of Melbourne. His books on museums and curatorship include Sculpture and the Museum (2011) and contributions to Museum Making; Making Art History and Reshaping Museum Space (2005, 2007 and 2012). Associate Professor Marshall has a long standing research interest in the art market with his most recent publication being Baroque Naples and the Industry of Painting (Yale University Press, 2016).
Dr Georgina Walker, Assistant Tour Lecturer
Assistant Tour Lecturer Dr Georgina Walker is Sessional Subject Coordinator in Art History and Museum Studies at the University of Melbourne. Her research connects the rising popularity of private museums with new models of philanthropy and a reconfigured relationship between private and public space. Her forthcoming book, The Private Collector’s Museum—Public Good versus Private Gain, to be published by Routledge, is based on her doctoral dissertation.

Tour Manager Anita Archer has worked as an art consultant specialising specialising in contemporary Asian for over 15 years. She has led many VIP collector tours to the UAE and Hong Kong, and has extensive connections and experience in the art world of the region. Anita is in the final stages of her PhD on the global art market.
