This full-day professional development course for VCE Italian teachers closely relates to Units 1 to 4 of the Italian Study Design.
This full-day professional learning program for current and prospective VCE Italian teachers, as well as other teachers of Italian interested in refreshing their approach to teaching and learning, will offer diverse perspectives and new considerations of aspects of contemporary Italian language and culture. Presenters will include staff of the Italian Studies program of The University of Melbourne as well as experienced teaching practitioners.
A key aspect of the day will be the creation of networks for ongoing collaborative work between teachers and the University to strengthen and build Italian Studies in Victoria.
Registered participants will have access to dedicated materials before the commencement of the program via our online learning management system. Additionally, each participant will receive a pack of materials for use in development of their own resources.
Participants will also receive a certificate of attendance highlighting the relevant professional standards for use in relation to VIT procedures.
