Join us for the Human Rights and Animal Ethics [HRAE] Research Network's End of Year Address

Dr Siobhan O'Sulliavan and Dr Clare McCausland will draw on their recent scholarship concerning animal activists and law breaking. They will outline why trespass by animal advocates might be said to be consistent with the best tradition of civil disobedience. 

Dr Siobhan O'Sullivan is a lecturer in social policy at UNSW. She has written extensively on nonhuman animals including her 2011 book: Animals, Equality and Democracy.
Dr Clare McCausland is trained in moral philosophy, her published work brings together traditionally opposing views in animal rights and animal welfare.
