In exciting news for Russian Studies, the Faculty of Arts has recently received a bequest of over a quarter of a million dollars to enhance the teaching of Russian language and literature.  Head of the School of Languages and Linguistics Professor Alfredo Martinez-Exposito said that the gift would enable Russian Studies to develop exciting new initiatives in teaching.  Leading academic from the Russian Studies program, Dr Robert Lagerberg, believes this generous gift will help the Russian Studies program to flourish. This gift will allow new cultural subjects in Russian to be developed, which will subsequently help to make a major in Russian a more meaningful experience for our students.
