Associate Professor Frederik Vervaet awarded Woodward Medal in Humanities and Social Sciences

Frederik won the prize for his 2014 book The High Command in the Roman Republic: The Principle of the summum imperium auspiciumque from 509 to 19 BCE.

The Woodward Medal in Humanities and Social Sciences is awarded annually to a member of staff of the University of Melbourne for published research that has made a significant contribution to knowledge.
