Women in Research Citation Awards 2016

Dr Ute Knoch of the School of Languages and Linguistics has received one of this year's Women in Research Citation Awards.

These prestigious awards were presented by Clarivate Analytics (previously known as the IP & Science business of Thomson Reuters) at the ANU earlier this week. The ceremony was attended by the twelve winners, senior university representatives from most G8 universities, senior women academics, and executives from TR. Most of the awardees were from STEMM disciplines. Ute was one of the very few academics from HASS and the only one from Linguistics/Languages.

This is a top national recognition of Ute’s contribution to research that makes us all really proud. It also represents a step forward towards achieving a more equitable acknowledgment of women academics in Australia’s higher education.
