Each semester, the Faculty of Arts invites commencing graduate students to an Orientation Welcome Session. At this session you'll be introduced to your Graduate School, learn about our facilities and services, and get a chance to meet coordinators and peers from your program.

Faculty of Arts Orientation welcome for commencing graduate research students

For students commencing graduate research with the Faculty of Arts. A welcome session will be held with an introduction from the Associate Dean for Research Training as well as supplementary information about resources and enrichment from key Faculty and Library staff.

These events are then followed by light refreshments in a social setting in Arts Hall, Old Arts (Building 149), and visits to academic schools.

The next Orientation Welcome for commencing Graduate Research Students will be held in February 2017. More information and the registration form will be available here from December 2016.

Graduate and undergraduate orientation events have now concluded for 2016, however there are still plenty of resources available to help you transition into university life.
