Anna Schwartz has been a gallerist for over 30 years. Originally began as an artist run space, her gallery has developed over four locations and now exists as a Melbourne gallery designed by Denton Corker Marshall and a Sydney gallery designed by Tonkin Zulaika Greer. The gallery represents artists from the forefront of contemporary practice, working in all media, from Australia and other parts of the world. Anna Schwartz Gallery presents regular exhibitions by represented artists and projects by invited curators and artists. The gallery participates in art fairs, biennales and other events. Anna Schwartz Gallery has a publishing program and produces monographs on represented artists.

Callum Morton was born in 1965 in Montreal, Canada. He completed a BFA at Victoria College, Prahran in 1988 and an MFA in Sculpture at RMIT, Melbourne in 1999. He is currently Professor of Fine Art at MADA (Monash Art Design and Architecture) Melbourne.

In 2007 Morton was one of three artists to represent Australia at the Venice Biennale. In 2008 he completed the work Hotel on the Eastlink freeway in Melbourne, in 2009 he realised the pavilion Grotto for the Fundament Foundation in Tilburg, the Netherlands and in 2010 he completed a major outdoor commission, Silverscreen, for the new premises of MUMA in Melbourne. In 2011 his work was the subject of a retrospective at the Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne.

in 2013 Morton designed the set for the MTC's production of Other Desert Cities and he designed Endgame for their 2015 season. In 2014 he completed a collaboration with MCR and Occulus on a 2000m2 public park with integrated sculptures called 'Monument Park' in Melbourne's Docklands and he participated in the 19th Sydney Biennale, Imagine What You Desire. He is currently working on a range of public projects, including Immigration Place, a collaborative project for a public memorial to immigration in Canberra.
