The University of Melbourne's Indonesian Language and Studies Program is offering the program Indonesian@Uni exclusively to Year 12 students.
Date: Friday, 14 June 2019
Asia Institute, the University of Melbourne
The program is meant to equip students not only with the necessary language skills needed to succeed, but also (and more importantly) to provide students a taste of what it is like to study Indonesian at university.
The program will begin with a presentation on the importance and value of studying Indonesian beyond high school, and some current University of Melbourne students will share their experiences. The following session will be broken up into smaller groups that will focus on Indonesian culture, reading, listening, writing and speaking skills. Morning tea and lunch are provided, and a campus tour with our current students is optional.
