Submissions

Assigned assessments must be submitted by the date and time set by the subject coordinator, and should be placed in the assignment box located on the second floor of the Sidney Myer Asia Centre. Assignments should not be submitted to individual tutor/lecturer mailboxes unless directed otherwise by the subject coordinator. Late submission without an extension will attract penalties. The School will not accept assessment sent by mail, fax or email. Always keep a copy of your submitted assessment.

Extensions

Students may be granted extensions of up to two weeks (10 working days) to accommodate unforeseen circumstances, where the student’s capacity to complete required work by the due date has been affected by significant factors beyond their control.

An Assignment and Essay Extension Request form is available from the link below. This form should be filled in and given to the subject coordinator before the submission date. Penalties apply to all work submitted late without an approved extension.

Students granted an extension who experience continued circumstances which prevent them submitting assessment by the revised due date, must apply for Special consideration to their student centre within three days of the revised due date. Information on applying for Special Consideration can be found on the Students Special consideration web page and applications can be submitted on the Admin page of your Student Portal.
