Australia-China Council visitor: Cao Liwei

The Australian Centre is pleased to be hosting post graduate student Cao Liwei. Liwei is studying at Inner Mongolia University, Huhhot, Northern China. Liwei is a major in English language literature and is undertaking her Masters by research. Her project title is 'Exploration of Spiritual World: A further study of Patrick White and his major works.'

Cao Liwei, Inner Mongolia University, Huhot, PR China'By applying the project, I got the chance to come to the University of Melbourne which is a great place for me to conduct my research, since there are plenty of resources and great study environment which will help me a lot with my study, and the specialised professors can also give my guidance on my study.'

Cao Liwei will be a visitor at the Australian Centre until 15 May.

The Australia-China Council (ACC) was established by the Australian Government in 1978 to promote mutual understanding and foster people-to-people relations between Australia and China. A core activity is supporting a network of 30 Australian Studies Centres located in leading Chinese metropolitan and regional universities through the Australian Studies in China program and the new Foundation for Australian Studies in China – a unique partnership between government, corporate and university sectors to advance Australian studies and education in China.
