The internet and social control

CAJ Senior Lecturer Louisa Lim has published a series of articles in the Guardian about how governments around the world are using internet access as a form of control, sometimes cutting off entire countries. She worked with Crikey journalist Julia Bergin, and two Myanmar experts in Thailand, Andrew Nachemson and Nyein Nyein.  This series was part of the Asian Stories initiative, and was supported by the Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism and Ideas.
