Diversity Week celebrates our commitment to creating an inclusive and connected university community that embraces our diversity on campus.
About Diversity Week
Diversity week will be held 18-22 March 2019 to coincide with the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (2019 theme: Mitigating and countering rising nationalist populism and extreme supremacist ideologies) and Harmony Day on 21 March 2019.
The state-wide theme for Diversity Week is Proud to belong - Your Generation Your Stories.
Proudly presented by the Faculty of Arts in collaboration with the VCA and UMSU People of Colour Department, the week invites all students to embrace and celebrate Diversity here on campus. Diversity Week will be held 18-22 March with an exciting program of keynote speakers, performances, workshops and social events. We encourage everyone to participate and create a community where everyone is proud to belong.
Come along to celebrate our talented community and help create an environment where everyone is proud to belong.
