  • Build your skills in close reading and textual interpretation across eight of the most popular VCE Literature texts.
  • Each two-hour lecture, designed specifically for VCE students, highlights significant passages in the texts and unpacks typical exam questions.
  • Lectures are led by experienced literary scholars, including Professor Chris Wallace-Crabbe and Professor Deirdre Coleman
  • Further strengthen your skill set with Margot Thompson, an experienced VCE Literature teacher, who will deliver a lecture on successful examination strategies and techniques

  • Explore the key themes in language exams and hear from past examiners.
  • Hear lectures from leading academics outlining reading, writing, listening and oral strategies.
  • Participate in breakout sessions and practice your new skills, with individual feedback offered to all participants.

History: Revolutions

Thursday 11 July 2019

  • Strengthen your understanding of the causes and outcomes of revolutions with senior Faculty of Arts academics, Professors Peter McPhee and Mark Edele.
  • Learn how to perform at your best in the exam with VCE expert, Elizabeth Morgan.
  • Choose from individual two-hour lectures on each of the four revolutions, delivered by leading academics.
  • Please note Session 5, the panel discussion, has been cancelled.
