Human Factors in Cyber Security PhD Scholarship

Applications are invited for a PhD scholarship in the area of Human Factors in Cyber Security. The student will be supervised by Professor Monica Whitty at The University of Melbourne. The student will be full time and will pursue an independent PhD research project that is aligned with Professor Whitty's other projects and research interests.

We are seeking a highly motivated student with demonstrable research skills, writing experience and expertise in one or more of the following fields: psychology, criminology, media and communication, and the social sciences. The applicant will need to have a good grasp and experience of methodologies in the social sciences, such as advanced statistical analysis, and/or qualitative analysis (eg grounded theory, content analysis, thematic analysis).
