David Nyuol Vincent is a dual South Sudanese/Australian citizen, currently the Deputy Team Leader of the Peacebuilding Opportunities Fund (POF). POF is a UK-funded programme in South Sudan that aims to pursue violence reduction and peacebuilding objectives flexibly, strategically, and sustainably. David is a respected advocate for community-led peacebuilding in South Sudan and the diaspora, and was instrumental in the establishment of Peace Canal, a national NGO, during the first phase of the POF. He brings a personal passion for peace and reconciliation work and a deep understanding of the drivers of conflict and peace. He is also the author of his memoir, The Boy Who Wouldn't Die, published in 2012.
