Join us for the 2019 Digital Studio Internships Showcase and discover innovative digital projects being undertaken within the Faculty of Arts.

The Digital Studio’s Graduate Internships bring together graduate students, postdocs and academics from across the Faculty of Arts to work together on digital research projects. Creating an environment for the investigation and trialling of digital concepts and methodologies, the internships provide support to academics, as well as upskilling and mentoring an emerging community of digital humanists.

Now in its second year, the 2019 interns have tackled nine diverse projects, ranging from linking and visualising geolocated data from the Samtavro Cemetery in the South Caucasus, to working with an Indigenous song database to merge and migrate field recordings, field notes, and song metadata. Find out more about 2019 Internship Projects.

The event will include short presentations about each project illustrating a range of possibilities for digital humanities and social science research. After the presentations, support the work of our interns with celebratory wine and cheese.
