Lecture Capture 2018: new functionality, opportunities and possibilities

with Catherine Manning (Learning Environments) and Meredith Hinze (Arts eTeaching)

Open to all Faculty of Arts teaching staff, and held in the The Lab, Level 2 of the Digital Studio, West Wing of Arts West (Building 148) (access via the rear lift).

The new Lecture Capture system launched in February 2018, is an easier, cleaner interface, providing a range of additional functionality to enhance student learning and staff usability. In this session you'll gain an understanding of how to manage your Lecture Capture list, how to share your PowerPoint files with students via the system, allowing students to take notes during a lecture, how to upload video to your library and either add it to your lecture capture link or get the embed code. Other new functionality includes the ability for students to anonymously flag 'points of confusion' within recordings. The new system also enables teaching staff to add active engagement slides such as Polls, Multiple Choice, Drop Pin on Image, and other types.
