Digital Heritage Workshop

What is required for a career in digital heritage now and into the future?

Streamed live as part of the Digital Heritage Seminars series on 17 October 2018

Demarcations of time and space are becoming more fluid in the digital world, and our cultural heritage, once experienced as often static or distant, is progressively more interactive, immersive, and interlinked with the technologies that frame our everyday. As a result, the GLAM sector needs to engage audiences by making available expanding amounts of content in a wide range of digital environments. This digital transformation is remaking careers in the cultural sector.

This workshop, hosted by the Digital Studio, was an opportunity to interrogate what is required for a career in digital heritage now and into the future.
