The drive is not reading my floppy disk?
- Verify the disk is not write protected by sliding the tab in the top corner into the opposite position
- Not all 3.5" floppy disk will work. The magnetic tape on floppy disk looses data over time as the magnetic field degrades, additional since a floppy drive is a mechanical device with moving parts, it will eventually fail.
