About the donors

Established in 2013 to commemorate 110 years of the Faculty, the Faculty of Arts 110 Scholarship Fund aims to ensure that an Arts degree continues to be accessible to students, no matter their background. The Faculty wants as many students as possible to have access to high quality Arts education at the University, and to nurture a new generation of thinkers and leaders through the Faculty of Arts. It is for this very reason that the Faculty of Arts 110 Scholarship Fund supports those students who have demonstrated the skill and creative acumen to excel, but who are hampered by circumstances beyond their control.  As one of the Faculty’s flagship priorities, over 200 friends and alumni of the Faculty give to the 110 Fund. This commitment increases access and equity and assists students who may struggle to find the means to come to the University.

Recipient feedback

Rebecca Vannapraseuth

This scholarship had an enormous positive impact on my life. I was able to reduce my working hours during the rest of the semester, giving me more time to study. As a result of the extra time I was able to dedicate to my studies, my academic performance improved drastically. Most notably, I submitted my thesis – something that I truly believe would have been impossible to achieve without the assistance of the Arts 110 Scholarship. Your generosity has made it possible for me to continue my studies at honours level and achieve things I never thought possible. This experience has enriched my life today and opened up career and study pathways in my future.
