Antithesis

Antithesis is Australia’s longest-running graduate interdisciplinary journal of contemporary theory, criticism and culture, appearing annually. Antithesis is a refereed arts and humanities journal edited by graduate students and published annually in association with the School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne. It is the oldest graduate student-oriented journal in Australia.

Cultural Studies Review

Cultural Studies Review (formerly The UTS Review) is a refereed journal published twice a year in March and September by UTSePress.

e-maj

emaj (electronic Melbourne art journal) is the only online, refereed art history journal published in Australia. emaj aims to provide an international forum for the publication of original academic research in all areas and periods of art history. Topics covered include fine arts, architecture, curatorship, politics and aesthetics, visual culture, philosophy, historiography and museum studies. emaj welcomes monographic articles about specific artists or art collectives as well as thematic or theoretical analyses on aspects of art history.

Going Down Swinging

Going Down Swinging is a literary magazine publishing short fiction, poetry, comic art and spoken word, all in the one book/CD package. GDS has been publishing since 1980 to widespread acclaim.

PLATFORM: Journal of Media and Communication

PLATFORM is a biannual open-access online graduate publication. Founded by the Media and Communications Program, School of Culture and Communication, The University of Melbourne, PLATFORM was launched in November 2008. This graduate journal is refereed by an international board of established and emerging scholars working across diverse paradigms in Media and Communication. It is planned to develop it as an international journal. PLATFORM aims to encourage sharing and support within and across Media and Communication postgraduate communities worldwide.
