Do you have a disability?

A disability can include a range of conditions that many people do not identify as being a disability. Disabilities can include specific conditions such as epilepsy, chronic fatigue, diabetes, dyslexia, long term medical conditions, and mental health issues along with other traditionally identified conditions such as vision, hearing and physical impairments.

The University of Melbourne provides services that accommodate the needs of people whose disability has an adverse effect on their studies. Adjustments can be negotiated which assist such students to study in a more equal environment. These may include alternative assessment arrangements, alternative reading materials, and academic support workers to assist with a variety of tasks.

If you wish to know more about these services please see the Student Equity and Disability Support website.
