Professor Adrian Hearn’s 360-degrees film highlighted by the Cuban embassy

The Embassy of Cuba in Australia has featured Professor Adrian Hearn’s “Who is Nature?” film for Cuban Culture Day.

The film takes viewers on an journey to a medicinal forest in Havana, a Mayan sacred cenote lake and reserve in Mexico’s Yucatán peninsula, and the landscape of Western Australia as it is sculpted by the Aboriginal Dreamtime serpent Beemarra. Viewers trigger video interviews with healers and specialists within the scenes, alongside maps and texts about the sacred sites.

The film is set to an original soundtrack, composed collaboratively by Grammy Award winner Daniel Jáuregui (Harmonic Whale Studio) and the community arts organisation Suns of Mercury.
