Journalists make reference to UOM Policy Shop on ABC Lateline

University of Melbourne "The Policy Shop" podcasts rank #16 Highest new entry on iTunes Charts

Respected journalist Maxine Mc Kew on the ABC's Lateline final program references The University of Melbourne's Policy Shop stating, "the players are going to different places... that podcast coming out of a University produced the lead story onThe Guardian... good interview."

Martin Parkinson was sacked by Tony Abbott from the Treasury department after he came to power in 2013, alongside a handful of other departmental heads. He was brought back to the public service by Malcolm Turnbull to be secretary of the department of prime minister and cabinet. In a wide-ranging interview with The Policy Shop Podcast, hosted by Glyn Davis the Vice-chancellor of The University of Melbourne, Parkinson says the brutal treatment he experienced had a broader impact.
