Russian studies
Russian studies has an MA, PhD and undergraduate program (Major). Students can major in Russian with a combination of Russian language, linguistics & literature subjects, and, in addition, subjects taught in the History & Political Science programs relating to Russia and Eastern/Central Europe.
Overview
The Russian program within the School of Languages and Linguistics at The University of Melbourne has a full graduate (MA and PhD) and undergraduate program (Major). Students are able to take a Major in Russian with a combination of Russian language, linguistics and literature subjects, and, in addition, subjects taught in the departments of History and Political Science relating to Russia and Eastern/Central Europe. Combined Honours in Russian is also available.
Students may also include subjects in Slavic Studies taught at Monash University. It is also possible to study Russian subjects under the Single subject studies (Community Access Program), or under The University of Melbourne Extension Program.
