|Melissa Sharkey||School Manager|
Melissa is responsible for the overall management and operation of the School, comprising academic staff, a core team of professional staff and, specific project staff for research projects and tiered-funding initiatives. Melissa supports and advises our Head of School, the School Executive and leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of School Strategic priorities and ensures compliance with Faculty and University policies. Melissa also supports and strengthens working relationships with key service providers in the areas of Academic Support, External Relations, Research, Strategy and Planning and Employee Services.

|Trudie Molloy||Administrative Assistant|
Trudie provides administrative and operational support to the School. She manages the Babel (Building 139) facilities (levels 1-7) including, room bookings, space allocation and moves, keys and security issues, purchase orders and eCart, stationery and consumable orders. Trudie is also the School's local OHS Contact person and manages inductions for all new starters.

|Jen Graham-Williams||Executive Assistant|
Jen provides Executive Support to the Head of School and the School Manager. Jen also provides Executive support to all School committees' meetings and organises externally facing school events and in-house functions. Jen is your point of contact in relation to appraisals, honorary appointments and visitors.

|Tiarne Barratt||Research Support Officer for the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language|
Tiarne plays a leading role in the day-to-day operations and functions of the Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language, working in close collaboration with the academic and professional staff in the Centre, the School, and with staff across the Faculty.
Through her role, she contributes to the planning, budgeting, financial management and output data reporting of Centre research activities at the node.
Tiarne also provides high-level support for industry linkages, project management for the Centre's engagement activities, and is responsible for the management of existing grants.
|Allyra Murray||Project Officer for Research Unit for Indigenous Language (RUIL).|
Allyra provides support across the operations of the RUIL, focussing on administration, engagement activities and events, and manages Indigenous research grants, RUIL internships, cadetships and other initiatives. Allyra also supports the Unit in promoting its activities, through maintaining the website, social media output and producing the tri-annual newsletter.
|Kathryn Weller||Research Centre Administrative Officer for Language Testing Research Centre (LTRC)|
Kathryn provides a leading role in the day-to-day operational, finance and administrative functions of the LTRC. Kathryn works in close collaboration with academic staff in the Centre and with professional staff across the School of Languages and Linguistics and the Faculty of Arts.
Kathryn contributes to planning, budgeting and financial management and reporting on Centre activities. She provides high-level support for industry linkages, the management of grants and projects and is the main administrative support to the Centre Director, Dr Ute Knoch.

|Gavin Nebauer||Audio Officer / Studio Manager|
Gavin is the School's in-house expert on all things audio, visual and podcasting. Gavin actively supports academic and graduate researchers with the supply and training of how to use our extensive list of specialised fieldwork equipment and recording devices. Gavin also manages the Horwood Recording Studio, located in the John Medley Building (Building 191) which amongst many other things specialises in Podcasting and voice-over work. He has personally been involved in the recording and production of Podcasts for almost a decade, well before it was a major trend.

|Liza Lakusa||Teaching and Research Officer|
The Teaching and Research (T&R) Officer provides high-level administrative support for the graduate research activities in the School including graduate research selection and scholarship scoring. The T&R Officer is responsible for graduate candidature management including; candidature variations, allocation of resources, milestones and examinations. The T&R Officer also works collaboratively with the School's Academic Programs Team Leader to deliver high quality support in the annual course and subject change process, handbook editing, results and timetabling activities.

|Anna Cameron||Academic Programs Team Leader|
Anna provides leadership and expert advice in the successful operation and organisation of the School's academic programs and teaching and learning needs across undergraduate, honours, and coursework programs. This includes taking responsibility for the effective management of the School's annual course and subject change process, casual staff support, handbook editing, results processing and timetabling activities. Anna initiates and develops administrative strategies and systems that enhance the efficiency of these activities maintains a high level of awareness of wider University policies and procedures.
