Overview

It has a focus on practitioners’ acquisition of knowledge and skills consistent with the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Agency’s Quality and Safeguards Commission.

The project is funded by the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services – Office of the Senior Practitioner, and delivered in partnership with Scope Australia Ltd’s Positive Behaviour Support team.  It is part of a wider strategy on the part of the Victorian Government to both address the safety and rights of people with disability and the thin market problem given the very few practitioners available to work in this complex and specialised area of clinical practice and service provision.
