Languages and Linguistics postgraduate speed papers

The Languages and Linguistics Postgraduate Club Committee is proud to announce the long-awaited Speed Papers Session to be held on Friday 31st August. The session will take place from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Lower Theatre in the Babel building. Refreshments will follow at the Research Lounge in Arts West.
The session consists of 4 minutes & 4 slides + 1 minute for questions. Postgraduate students of the School of Languages and Linguistics are invited to present a concise summary of one aspect of their research. Staff members are also invited to participate and provide their highly appreciated feedback.
Speed papers are a great opportunity for all postgraduate students to practice presentation skills, abilities to select the most important aspects of our work and, of course, to get to know what other fellow students are working on and receive feedback.
Students who would like to participate as presenters, need to send a confirmation via email at lalpostgrad@gmail.com by Monday 20th August. Include the research area of your work and the title of your presentation (if you already have one). Slides must be sent by Thursday 30th August.
