One of India’s biggest development challenges is the delivery of reliable and affordable electricity to every household, while also promoting a renewable energy transition. Currently, 200 million Indians do not have access to electricity and many more do not receive reliable electricity.
This seminar will open by featuring Australian-Indian social enterprise Pollinate Energy, who will discuss their innovative work selling solar products to people living in India’s urban slums.
The panel will then discuss how to ensure every Indian household can access sustainable, reliable and affordable energy in the coming years.
