Conversations: International Relations and Social Policy Careers

Join the Faculty of Arts for an interactive Q&A with recent graduates!

At this event we’ll be asking your questions to Natalie Gibbons (Master of Social Policy) and James Majernik (Master of International Relations).

Natalie has ten years' experience developing and implementing social policy and public sector reform, working with departments and agencies across the Victorian Public Service. She now works as a Senior Policy Advisor with Victoria Police’s Family Violence Command, designing and implementing sweeping changes to police policy and practice across a range of issues relating to family violence, sexual offences and child abuse.

James worked formerly in consulting roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Asialink, and also for government clients including the Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet and the Department of Premier & Cabinet (Vic). He has also advised businesses across the private sector, including ASX listed c-suite executives, and recently moved into the role of Partnerships Coordinator (Regional Adviser for the Middle East, Africa, India, and Oceania) with the University of Melbourne Chancellery.

Come along to find out more about how these two former students transitioned from study into fulfilling employment.
