Join the Faculty of Arts for an interactive Q&A with recent graduates!

At this event we’ll be asking your questions to Gabrielle Ryan (Master of Creative Writing, Editing, and Publishing) and Doug Hendrie (PhD, Creative Writing).

Gabrielle is a writer and the Wheeler Centre's Head of Operations. She has a PhD in creative writing, looking at the Gothic as a transgressive mode of representation in historical novels by Australian women, and is writing an historical novel of her own.

Doug is a nonfiction writer whose first book, AmalgaNations, came out in 2014. He has worked as a freelance journalist writing for national and international publications, and is currently the Associate Editor for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners’ newsGP outlet.

Come along to find out more about how these two former students transitioned from study into fulfilling employment.
