About the Subject
Industry Project (ARTS30001) allows students to gain hands-on experience working with Industry partners on genuine and impactful projects, collaborating on an industry project in a small on campus consulting team. Develop critical thinking, creativity, and intercultural awareness while refining project management, teamwork, and business skills. This subject enhances employability by preparing you to tackle complex challenges with practical workplace experience.
Assessment in this subject centres on the project you will be working on throughout the semester.
Benefits of Enrolling
Work directly with external orgainsations
Step out of the classroom and into the real world. You’ll collaborate with an external organisation on a genuine project, applying your skills to real challenges and gaining valuable industry insight along the way.
Contribute to a meaningful project
Make an impact while you learn. You’ll work on projects that matter to your industry partner, contributing fresh ideas, research, and solutions that can have real-world outcomes—not just academic ones.
Create new connections
Build your professional network before you graduate. Working alongside industry professionals and your project team, you’ll form relationships that can lead to future opportunities, references, or even job offers.
