Academic Skills opportunities

The University-wide Graduate Student Association facilitates a range of activities and networks to support graduate researchers throughout their candidature.

These include Shut Up and Write events, a regular series of structured social writing sessions, designed to overcome research student isolation while helping you beat procrastination, as well as Thesis Bootcamp, a rigorous three-day writing weekend, with a different program of focused activities each day. Check out the current schedule on the GSA Study Skills web page.

The GSA also run the Graduate Researcher Network, an SSAF-funded program designed to help graduate researchers succeed in their candidature while building new friendships and connections across disciplines. To learn more please visit the Graduate researcher network web page.

A full list of current representative, academic, and social opportunities can be discovered on the GSA website.
