Faculty of Arts Travel Grant
The Faculty of Arts Travel Grant is available to Arts students undertaking a University of Melbourne Global Study Tour subject.
The Faculty of Arts Travel Grant is available to Arts students who are enrolled in a University of Melbourne Global Study Tour subject. You MUST apply by the subject census date to be considered for the grant. Census dates may be different for each subject. You can review census dates by checking the subject entry in the University Handbook. Late applications will not be accepted.
The grant will be paid retrospectively following the conclusion of the subject and successful application for funding. However, due to the limited number of grants available, if you have already been awarded other funding for your travel, you will not be eligible for this grant. The exception to the above is if you are successful for the $1,000 Mobility Award (which is offered to students who are undertaking study overseas for at least three weeks), you may be eligible for a top up from the Arts Travel grant to bring your total award amount to a maximum of $1,500, or 50% of your travel costs, whichever is greater.
Benefits
The grant is valued up to $1,500.
You must make sure that your banking details are up to date in order to receive your payment.
