Asia Institute 25th Anniversary

This video of the University of Melbourne's Asia Institute's 25th anniversary event on Thursday 22 August 2024 was recorded at the Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room at the Sidney Myer Asia Centre, University of Melbourne (Parkville campus). It includes opening speeches, panel discussion and roundtable, Q&A and the Melbourne Asia Review awards for Best Article 2024 and Best Article by a PhD Student 2024.  Panellists as well as current and former Directors of the Asia Institute discuss the story of the Asia Institute - past, present and future - while acknowledging its contributions and roles within the community and engagement at a broader international scale.
