Dr Bahruddin
Dr Bahruddin is lecturer in the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Faculty of Social and Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. He obtained his PhD degree from the University of Melbourne in 2020 with the thesis titled “The effects of Public Voluntary Regulation (PVR) on environmental and social performance in developing country contexts: across sectors and firms in Indonesia”. He also participated in the program Managing Global Governance at the German Development Institute. His research focuses on voluntary sustainability standards, regulatory governance, and environmental regulation. He has also been working as the external expert for the Industrial Environmental Rating Program (PROPER) at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
Dr Bahruddin adalah dosen di Departemen Pembangunan Sosial dan Kesejahteraan (PSDK), Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Pengetahuan, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. Ia memperoleh gelar PhD dari University of Melbourne pada tahun 2020 dengan tesis berjudul “The Effects of Public Voluntary Regulation (PVR) on Environmental and Social Performance in Developing Country Contexts: Cross Sector and Firms in Indonesia”. Ia juga berpartisipasi dalam program Managing Global Governance di German Development Institute. Penelitiannya berfokus pada standar keberlanjutan sukarela, tata kelola peraturan, dan peraturan lingkungan. Beliau juga pernah bekerja sebagai tenaga ahli eksternal pada Program Penilaian Lingkungan Industri (PROPER) di Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan.
