Dr Pradeep Taneja

Dr Pradeep Taneja is Deputy Associate Dean – International in the Faculty of Arts and former Deputy Head of School (Engagement) for the School of Social and Political Sciences at The University of Melbourne. Concurrently, he is an Academic Fellow of the Australia India Institute and a Member of the Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies – both based at the University of Melbourne. His professional career has combined teaching, consultancy, and research across various fields. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Asian Security and International Affairs. Pradeep is a specialist in Chinese politics and foreign policy who has lived in China for a total of seven years at different intervals.
