An Intersection of Policy, Publics and Film: Projecting Australia's National Identity

My research explores the contemporary notion of National Cinema, and how Australia's film policies, cultural policies, publics, and cinematic texts converge to curate and project a distinct national identity. It emphasises the role of key cinematic and commonwealth policy developments in projecting national imaginaries through the medium of film.
