Equestrian Connections: Exploring Inter-Regional Contacts in Iron Age Veneto
Her research explores horse-related ritual practices, including sacrifice, burial, and the consideration of horse breeds, in Northeastern Italy and the Carpathian Basin during the Early Iron Age. It aims to uncover potential cultural exchanges and patterns of human mobility between these regions. Ultimately, this research seeks to establish the role of the Steppes, the Balkans, and the Carpathian Basin as an alternative corridor of cultural transmission, connecting the East and West beyond the Mediterranean.
