European Studies
European Studies is an interdisciplinary program exploring the cultures, societies and languages of Europe.

Students can explore the different cultures in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Russia and the former Soviet Union, and choose from a variety of elective subjects in areas such as history, politics, cinema studies, literary studies, philosophy, and art history.
Our minor in European Studies is a great complement to a European language major, and part of the studies can be undertaken overseas in a European country.
Students who take our minor can go on to work in cultural communications, government, international relations, teaching, journalism, or business.
