Arts Student Ambassadors
Are you passionate about the Arts student community? Looking to develop valuable skills, expand your network, and strengthen your resume? As a Faculty of Arts Student Ambassador, you'll have the chance to volunteer at exciting Arts events and connect with like-minded individuals.
What do Arts Student Ambassadors do?
- Ambassadors volunteer at Arts events and serve as representatives for the Faculty's student community. During these events, Ambassadors are expected to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This includes engaging in conversations with peers, answering questions about adjusting to university life, and encouraging friendships and networking among Arts students.
- In addition to connecting with the broader Arts student body, Ambassadors will also foster a close-knit group among themselves. The 2026 cohort will consist of both Undergraduate and Graduate students, offering a unique networking opportunity to connect with peers with a diverse range of experience and interests among the Faculty.
- Ambassadors as leaders in their Arts community can provide peer feedback to the Faculty and have input into how the Arts student experience can be enhanced in addition to promoting events and opportunities to their classmates and cohorts.

Hear from Miyuki:
My experience as a Graduate Student Ambassador was fruitful, as I made many new connections with like-minded volunteers who had the same passion in improving the campus experience for students in the Faculty of Arts. I met a lot of students who came from different backgrounds in the Faculty and enjoyed conversing and helping them in their student journey. Overall, the Ambassador role helped me grow as an organiser and team player in creating and executing different initiatives for students.
Hear from Tika:
“The only thing that can truly sustain passion is being surrounded by people who share it.” The Arts Student Ambassador Program gave me that community - a space where ideas turn into action and enthusiasm becomes shared purpose. It was more than volunteering; it was growth through empathy, teamwork, and creativity. Every event reminded me that learning extends beyond the classroom - it thrives in connection and shared experience. Supporting students in their journey made me reflect on my own. This role became one of the most defining parts of my degree, shaping how I understand that leadership isn’t about standing out, but about lifting others along the way.
