Overseas subjects

The Faculty of Arts runs a number of overseas intensive subjects in various locations around the world, in collaboration with partner universities.

Overseas intensive subjects typically run for a week (but can run for up to four weeks) and may also involve industry visits and cultural excursions at the destination. These subjects are an excellent chance to foster international scholarly networks and to approach your subject matter from a different perspective and place. Overseas Intensive subjects are available at different stages throughout your degree.

Participants in overseas intensive subjects are selected based on a competitive application process. Information on individual subjects and links to online application forms will be listed below. Please note that special entry conditions apply for these subjects. All students must make an application and obtain approval from subject coordinator.

For further about upcoming information sessions and application dates, please Like the 'Arts at Melbourne' Facebook page or visit this page for regular updates. For funding opportunities please visit the Students Study overseas Funding options web page or the Faculty of Arts Scholarships and Prizes web page.
