Experience a day in the life of a BA student

If you’re a Year 10 student looking ahead to what you might want to study once you leave school, join us for BA for a Day and get a taste of what studying the arts, humanities and social sciences can be like.

Experience what it's like to be a BA student at the home of the BA, the award-winning Arts West building in the heart of our beautiful Parkville campus.

Participate in a range of workshops across different subject areas throughout the day. Learn a language in 20 minutes, explore Indigenous Studies, or find out more about Politics and International Studies, Philosophy and English and Theatre Studies.

At BA for a Day, you’ll get the opportunity to deep-dive into ancient worlds by interacting with archaeological artefacts in our unique object-based learning labs.

You’ll also meet current students and recent alumni from the Bachelor of Arts who’ll talk about their experiences at the University of Melbourne and beyond, and learn about the diverse and exciting careers a BA can lead to.

Parents can also attend an exclusive information session followed by a guided tour where they'll explore the unique history and landmarks on our beautiful Parkville campus.
