关于影片 About the Documentary
成都彩虹是一家关注LGBT社群的非营利组织,其前身是成都米尔克,影片展现了组织的重组、努力建设、又再次衰落的过程。其中主要拍摄对象——马修,是机构的创始人,也是同志群体的一员,他的创始初衷是为了帮助有精神困境的LGBT群体,但最后他也因为心理问题而离开。
Chengdu Rainbow is a non-profit organization focused on the LGBTQ community——originally, it was known as Chengdu Milk. The film showcases organization's restructuring, efforts to build itself up, and subsequent decline. The main subject of this film, Matthew, is the founder of the organization and a member of the LGBTQ community. He initial motivation for founding it was to help LGBTQ individuals facing mental health challenges, but ultimately he also left due to his own mental health struggles.
关于导演 About the Director
李雅琦,就读于北京电影学院导演系。执导多部故事短片、纪录短片,曾参与多部院线长片导演组工作。纪录短片《成都彩虹》斩获北京爱酷电影周观众票选第一名并入围Queer East Festival。故事短片《彩排》荣获 International Independent Film Awards的最佳学生影片,故事短片《春游》入围Student World Impact Film电影节。
Li Yaqi studies in the Directing Department of Beijing Film Academy. She has directed several short narrative films and documentary shorts, and has participated in the director teams of many feature films shown in cinemas. Her documentary short Chengdu Rainbow claimed the Audience Choice Award at Beijing Queer Film Festival, and was shortlisted for the Queer East Festival.and her narrative short film Playground earned an official selection at the Student World Impact Film Festival.
Post-screening discussion will be moderated by Bin Wang, PhD researcher in Cultural Studies.
This event is co-organized by the Asian Cultural Research Hub and the Gender, Sexuality and Culture Seminar Series.
