On behalf of Art Programme, Jan Bryant, Bryan Cooke, and  Justin Clemens will host a discussion on anarchism with the French philosopher Catherine Malabou, in dialogue with the Swiss film, Unrueh/Unrest (2022).

Catherine will speak about anarchism and how it might relate to today's political landscape, while the film takes us back to the 19th century, where a small watch making town in the Swiss Jura region has been visited by the Russian anarchist/geographer, Pyotr Kropotkin (1842–1921).

To cover costs charged by the production company (Seeland Filmproduktion, Zurich), Art Programme are charging a small fee of $10 to access the film, which will also give you access to relevant readings and interviews that we have collected. You will find the payment link on the front page, artprogramme.org.

Join us in-person or email jessica.marian@unimelb.edu.au for the Zoom link . Please note that Malabou will be online.
