  • Academic Skills intensives

Twice a year, Academic Skills run an intensive Saturday workshop for coursework students in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. This intensive day-long program offers new students an introduction to academic expectations for graduate coursework students, and is also a study skills refresher for those part way through their studies. The program includes modules on study skills for graduate students, effective reading strategies, critical thinking, graduate writing and library research skills.

Dates for Academic Skills intensives will be advertised throughout the year. To register for this and other Academic Skills events and workshops, please visit the Academic Skills Enrol in a workshop web page.

  • Diploma in Languages

If you want to make language a feature of your study you can undertake a Diploma of Languages concurrently with your Masters degree. On completion of the Diploma you will have acquired a mastery of the oral, writing and reading skills and have gained a basic understanding of selected aspects of the culture and society associated with the language.

For more information please see the Handbook Diploma in Languages web page.
